Randall Duncan Pierce was born to a family of Stars and Personalities.

 

Be it the Rock Star oldest Patrick, the Bad Boy Rebel Henry, or the Electrifying Charisma of Joseph he could never stand against these men in personality or aura. Indeed there were days he was lost in the shadows they cast, and even when younger brother Thomas was born his lighthearted nature never seemed to care that all the attention was gone when it came to them.

 

That was why Randall learned if you can not stand out in personality that he had best make himself invaluable and earn the attention through hard work and determination.

 

That was why where all the words, smiles, and poses of his brothers made the world move he made it move with focus and drive. Honing his mind to a razor's edge, learning to do what came natural to his brothers, and grinding when he failed to live up to their standards.

 

Efforts that their father saw and encouraged in the young man, and when he graduated he showed him how to be the foundation of Pierce Inc... 

 

His brothers might be Gods among men, Randall learned from his father how to be more like the Old Man Pierce who all revered and respected. He might not have the adoration and love that they had but he would have their trust and respect. He would be his father's son more than they ever could. 

 

When the Old Man lay dying it was Randall he wanted by his side during his last breaths showing them all who his favored son was in the end. A value that all seemed to understand and agree with. In that simple act before he passed Randall's father enshrined his son's place as a Pierce forever. None of his brother's would dare question his judgement now that he had the final blessing of the Old Man. They would differ to their younger brother when they were not sure and in time he would become the adviser and confidant to them all.

 

When Patrick was born it was Randall who was named Godfather to the young boy and as he grew his older brother entrusted the education and training of his son and heir to his dutiful brother whom he had named CFO as well.

 

It was Randall who kept Pierce Inc afloat as his elder brother slid down the slopes of hedonism and revelry ignoring the Family Business he was supposed to be King of. So instead Randall stood as Steward and Regent to his young nephew whom he poured all his knowledge into and ensured he would be the man he needed to be. Watching as he grew and became a proper Pierce.

 

Still to this day he stands as the CFO of Pierce Inc, the silent workhorse, and cornerstone of the business advising his nephew and overseeing his projects.

 

Like his father before he would never look to be the man in the spotlight. Merely the man in the shadows ensuring it all went as he desired.

 

Others can get the glory Randall shall win the game.
