Charisma is a gift that can not be trained or acquired. Either you have it or you do not and no about of practice or training can help.

 

Joseph Liam Pierce is a man gifted with Charisma in spades.

 

Ever since childhood he just had a way of smiling, speaking, and moving that people found charming, and irresistible. Countless times he was able with a smile, or his large blue eyes maneuver himself out of bad situations, or into good one. Friends flocked to him, and everybody in school, and social life loved him, listened to him, and followed him.

 

Alas where he might be completely gifted with his Charisma it was all he had, and every task, project, or endeavor he worked on he failed at miserably. His abilities never able to match his promises. His grades bare minimum, his achievements always underwhelming. For as much as he had the gift of gab he lacked anything else.

 

It was why his father had him get into Politics... What better place for a man that could talk a big game but never accomplish anything?

 

Oh how Joseph soared standing before crowds giving his speeches and making promises.

 

From Local City Council where he was the youngest elected local official in Los Angeles history, to State Senator in Sacramento, to US Congressman for the Great State of California the man would talk and the people would listen votes sweeping wherever he wanted.

 

His first few terms in Washington DC people learned exactly what he was... A Mouthpiece and a man with the connections that was crucial to have. So they would make him the face of their Bills, They would promise favors to his illustrious family, and they would grant little projects his way for him to divvy out.

 

Joseph with just a few years became a major cog in the Washington Machine.
